Warden Eternal, keeper of the Domain and her secrets, has once again found his way into the headlines for being arrested. This time, rather than being arrested for profound behavior during a Fourth of July firework show, Warden has been detained by the police for denying passage to customers during the midnight launch of Halo 5: Guardians.
Tuesday night, at 11:58 EST, Warden Eternal phased into the parking lot of a shopping center including a GameStop. As the long line of customers awaiting to get their skin oil all over their intended copies of Halo 5 immediately stopped their ongoing conversations, Warden Eternal announced his ultimatum.
I am the Warden Eternal. I stand in service of digital copies. Those who download Halo 5 onto their consoles are approved for passage. Regretfully, you are not.
Just as Warden Eternal prepared to wipe out the line of customers with a super-duper shockwave, a bold consumer immediately phoned the police. Within minutes, the local police department was at the scene, and effectively subdued the Warden. Latest updates from the local police department have shown Warden Eternal being placed in solitary confinement for the time being, and it is likely he will stand trial for multiple offenses within the coming weeks.
